Credits 3. 3 Lecture Hours. Introductory study of Old and Middle English literature, exclusive of Chaucer, surveying major genres and topics. Instructors teaching this class will choose texts, assessments and approaches that represent current scholarship and satisfy course learning objectives. Prerequisite: 3 credits of literature at 200-level or above.
