Credits 3. 3 Lecture Hours. Introduction to some of the major literary and cultural forms of the twenty-first century. Course topics might include texts from a variety of national and cultural origins, different approaches to a relevant topic or representations of contemporary historical events. Students will explore how contemporary aesthetic and intellectual texts develop and express ideas about the human condition across cultures. Instructors teaching this class will choose texts, assessments and approaches that represent current scholarship and satisfy course learning objectives; also taught at Qatar campus.
