Credits 3. 3 Lecture Hours. This course introduces the design, development and evaluation of technology-enhanced learning experiences in organizational and educational contexts. Emphasis is placed on the application of instructional design models, adult learning principles and emerging tools to create effective and engaging instructional materials. Students will examine the role of instructional technology within the design process, evaluate learning platforms and authoring tools and produce digital learning content using accessible software. The course also explores current trends shaping instructional technology practice in the field of human resource development. Prerequisites: Grade of C or better in EHRD 371 ; junior or senior classification or approval of instructor.
