Credits 3. 3 Lecture Hours. Exploration of the practical and theoretical issues involved in evaluating student performance, teacher performance and educational programs; exploration of various means of performance-based assessments applicable to didactic, simulated and clinical learning environments; examination of a variety of assessment instruments and strategies and the role each has in both summative and formative evaluation processes; instruction in the development, execution, and interpretation of educational assessments and evaluation methods. Prerequisites: EDHP 631 .
