Credits 3. 3 Lecture Hours. Examination of the design, implementation and effects of interventions to promote young children’s development birth through age eight, with a particular focus on children who are vulnerable; attention to theoretical and empirical bases for intervention, intervention type and context, and hypothesized mechanisms of change; evaluation of intervention and curriculum effectiveness. Prerequisites: Graduate classification.
