Operational issues for sustainable electric energy systems; basic relevant topics in engineering, optimization and economic concepts; modular view of individual electric energy processing components; physical and market operations in electricity industry in support of sustainable energy integration; computer simulations and demonstrations to create and evaluate examples of power systems. Prerequisite: ECEN 214 , ECEN 420 , ECEN 460 or approval of instructor.
