Foundations of computer networking; layered architecture of the Internet, analysis of protocols, new-age networks such as the Web and social networks; computer network programming and offline analysis of real network data. Prerequisites: Grade of C or better in ECEN 303 or STAT 211 ; junior or senior classification.
