Fundamental topics in power and energy systems; phasors; three-phase circuits; self and mutual inductance; transformers; electromechanical systems; synchronous and induction machines; advanced concepts in electric energy conversion; DC-DC converters; inverters and rectifiers; solar and wind energy systems; DC and single-phase machines. Prerequisites: Grade of C or better in ECEN 214 ; junior or senior classification.
