Overview of a comprehensive approach in applying scientific principles and clinical management to the purposes of disaster management and emergency preparedness; importance of being cognizant of roles as dental and scientific advisors in the medico-legal system. Prerequisites: Knowledge of basic sciences including pathology, dental anatomy, occlusion, prosthetics, jurisprudence, and clinical and practice management; third- and fourth-year classification in dentistry.
