Instruction in the role of interprofessional providers in patient care; includes pre-rotation asynchronous work to prepare students for the clinical rotations, synchronous workshops with medical and dental faculty, clinical observation rotations, and a post-rotation debrief with faculty preceptors; collaboration and reflection on the impact of interprofessional teamwork on healthcare outcomes in both a dental and family medicine clinical setting. Prerequisites: Concurrent enrollment in DDDS 814 or DDDS 914 ; third or fourth year pre-doctoral classification or approval of instructor.
