Credits 2. 1 Lecture Hour. 3 Lab Hours. Intermediate study of street dance styles primarily performed to hip-hop music or that have evolved as part of hip-hop culture; styles may include breaking, locking, and popping; advanced steps, concepts, and techniques used to enhance motor and rhythmical skills; study of the current culture of hip-hop dance and its’ social impact. May be taken three times for credit. Prerequisites: Enrolled in MFA in Dance or approval of instructor.
