Credits 2. 1 Lecture Hour. 3 Lab Hours. Fundamentals of street dance styles primarily performed to hip-hop music or that have evolved as part of hip-hop culture; styles may include breaking, locking, and popping; basic steps, concepts, and techniques used to enhance motor and rhythmical skills; study of the current culture of hip-hop dance and its social impact. May be taken three times for credit. Prerequisites: Graduate classification.
