Credits 2. 1 Lecture Hour. 3 Lab Hours. Intermediate study of jazz dance; locomotor and axial phrases of movement, concepts, and techniques to enhance motor and rhythmical skills for jazz movement; improvement of complex coordination, stamina, flexibility, and proper alignment; creativity towards creating and performing various combinations; historical background and cultural heritage of jazz dance. May be taken three times for credit. Prerequisites: Enrolled in MFA in Dance or approval of instructor.
