Credits 2. 0 Lecture Hours. 5 Lab Hours. Intermediate study of modern dance; reviews, historical background, and cultural heritage and its development within society; continual study and understanding of modern dance concepts; fall/recovery, contract/release, use of breath and weight, spine work, inversion, and spatial awareness. May be taken three times for credit. Prerequisites: Enrolled in MFA in Dance program or approval of instructor.
