Catalog description

Credits 2. 1 Lecture Hour. 3 Lab Hours. Exploration of the movement principles of space, time, and force through dance improvisation and partnering; development of movement sequences individually from various stimuli such as poetry, pictures, sculpture, and other art; experimentation with concepts of leading and following others through movement, and exploration of the properties of momentum, weight sharing, contact improvisation, timing and trust. May be taken three times for credit. Prerequisites: Graduate classification.
