Credits 3. 3 Lecture Hours. Behavior, design and detailing of reinforced concrete structural members according to the ACI Building Code Requirements; design for ultimate limit states (flexure, shear and axial loads) and serviceability requirements; applications include continuous beams and moment frames. Prerequisites: Grade of C or better in CVEN 345 ; grade of C or better in CVEN 342 or CVEN 343 , or concurrent enrollment.
