Foundational and practical, hands-on aspects of blockchains and their applications; properties of the blockchain and the achievability of the applications they enable depending on the required trusted setup assumptions and cryptographic tools that they employ; private Ethereum network ranging from simple fund transfers between accounts, to the understanding, design and development of more complex smart contracts. Prerequisites: Graduate classification.
