Credits 3. 3 Lecture Hours. Focus on teaching Natural Language Processing (NLP) fundamentals including language models, automatic syntactic processing and semantic understanding; introduction to major NLP applications including information extraction, machine translation, text summarization, dialogue systems and sentiment analysis. Prerequisite: Graduate classification.
