Credits 3. 3 Lecture Hours. NLP fundamentals including word semantics, language models, discourse and pragmatics; introduction to various applications including information extraction, sentiment analysis, question and answering, text summarization and machine translation. Prerequisites: Grade of C or better in CSCE 331 or approval of instructor; junior or senior classification.
