Catalog description

Credits 3. 3 Lecture Hours. Exploration of the design space of programming languages via an in-depth study of functional and object-oriented programming concepts, using concrete programming languages as examples. Focuses on idiomatic uses of programming language constructs and on features characteristic for each language. Prerequisite: Grade of C or better in CSCE 221 , or concurrent enrollment.
