Catalog description

Credit 1. 1 Lecture Hour. Introduction to legal, social and ethical issues in computing and software development; emphasizes ethical decision-making, professional responsibility and communication, with coverage of professional codes, organizational ethics, law and policy, intellectual property, open-source software and variety of contemporary topics. Prerequisites: Grade of C or better in CSCE 221 ; also taught at Galveston campus.
