Credits 3. 3 Lecture Hours. Provides a foundation in theory and research at the interface of social and counseling psychology; fundamentals of social psychology theories, methodologies and perspectives; understanding the relevance to counseling psychology practice; focus on social and cognitive theories, concepts, and processes rather than specific psychological disorders. Prerequisite: Doctoral student in good standing in counseling, clinical, school or social psychology.
