Catalog description

Credits 3. 2 Lecture Hours. 3 Lab Hours. Study of construction project planning and scheduling, emphasizing plan reading to identify required activities and sequencing. Students will develop work breakdown structures, define durations and logic relationships and create critical path schedules that span all project phases of a building project from pre-construction through close-out. Using industry-standard software, students will create baselines, update progress, evaluate schedule quality and prepare reporting tools, resulting in working project execution documents. Prerequisite: COSC 353 ; COSC 375 .
