Introduction to computational approaches to collecting, organizing, and analyzing data in communication research; examination of web-scraping techniques; interaction with API; a survey of supervised methods and unsupervised methods; introduction to neural networks; introduction to natural language processing. Prerequisites: COMM 610 ; graduate classification.
