Application of fundamental principles of chemical engineering in the production of fermented foods, specifically the beer brewing process; exploration of the basics of food fermentation and fermented beverage preparation technology as well as providing fundamental knowledge in beer production methods and processes. Prerequisites: Graduate classification in chemical engineering or approval of instructor.
