Zymology and the application of fundamental principles of chemical engineering in the production of fermented foods, specifically the beer brewing process; exploration of the basics of food fermentation and fermented beverage preparation technology as well as providing fundamental knowledge in beer production methods and processes. Prerequisites: Must be 21 years of age; junior or senior classification; chemical engineering major.
