Bioorganic and medicinal chemistry converge in the study of small molecules binding protein surfaces; impact of monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) binding proteins on diagnostics, imaging, and targeted therapeutics, particularly for disruption of protein-protein interactions; discovery of small molecule agents to bind proteins via different combinatorial methods. Prerequisites: Graduate classification or approval of instructor.
