Credits 3. 3 Lecture Hours. Physical chemistry for the description of biological processes and the structure and behavior of biological molecules and macromolecules; theory of thermodynamics, kinetics, quantum and statistical mechanics. Only one of the following will satisfy the requirements for a degree: CHEM 321 or CHEM 327 . Prerequisites: CHEM 107 or CHEM 120 ; PHYS 206 or PHYS 201 ; MATH 152 , MATH 172 , or MATH 148 , or equivalent.
