Examination of cancer from an engineering perspective focusing on cancer as a complex interaction of tumor cells, support cells, and immune cells; quantifying and engineering tumor microenvironments; engineering advances in cancer discovery and therapeutic interventions; emphasis on systems integration to address cancer challenges. Prerequisites: Graduate classification or approval of instructor.
