Credits 3. 3 Lecture Hours. Structure and function of prokaryotic cells, with emphasis on evolutionary adaptations to different environmental, developmental, and pathogenic selections pressures; formation of teamsa and preparation of presentations on specific topics in microbiology. Prerequisites: BIOL 351 ; BIOL 406/GENE 406 or concurrent enrollment; BICH 410 , BICH 431/GENE 431 and GENE 302 strongly recommended.
