Credit 1. 1 Lecture Hour. Exploration of current topics in structural biology; focus on cryo-electron microscopy; visualization techniques for three-dimensional structures of macromolecules; use of electron microscopes and computational tools; review of basic visualization steps; discussion of primary literature. Prerequisites: BICH 603 or approval of instructor; graduate classification in biochemistry or biochemistry and molecular biophysics.
