Credits 3. 3 Lecture Hours. Examination of health environments to include buildings, healthcare gardens and restorative landscapes, and urban design for home-based care and independent living; emphasis on research-informed approaches for patient-centered design that reduce stress and promote improved health outcomes. Prerequisite: Graduate classification or approval of instructor.
