Catalog description

Credits 3. 2 Lecture Hours. 3 Lab Hours. Energy analysis (using Energy Plus software) with an emphasis on developing strategies for low energy use; simulation of various heating and cooling systems in low energy buildings; analysis of the mechanical equipment (including air handling systems, chiller and boilers), the building envelope, energy management control systems and indoor air quality. Prerequisite: Graduate classification or approval of instructor.
