Credits 3. 3 Lecture Hours. Survey of the Paleolithic archaeological record, beginning with the Oldowan and ending with the Upper Paleolithic and dispersal of modern humans to Australia and the Americas; review of major changes in technology, subsistence and land-use strategies that shaped the Paleolithic World. Prerequisite: Graduate classification or approval of instructor.
