Credits 2. 2 Lecture Hours. Application of horses in moving cattle via riding the 58 mile cattle trail in the Green River Drift; techniques for care of stock; emphasis on riding and horsemanship; insight into relationships between ranchers and Bureau of Land Management and Forest Service; exposure to packing horses and mules; appreciation of heritage and current issues related to ranching in the Green River Valley. Prerequisites: Graduate classification; approval of instructor.
