Multidisciplinary instruction in animal welfare science; exploration of issues including physiology, behavior, human-animal interactions, suffering and pain, ethics, health, assessment and standards and economics; experience in assessment of welfare of animals of a variety of species in virtual situations; promotion of problem solving and critical thinking skills through assessments, discussions, readings and assignments.
