Fundamental concepts of youth development practices, programs, organizations and services; development of a critical understanding of the changing views of adolescence and youth culture; overview of youth development theories and principles of positive youth development; aspects of youth development programs; developmental outcomes associated with participation in youth development programs. Prerequisite: Junior or senior classification.
