Catalog description

Credits 3. 3 Lecture Hours. Application of essential microeconomic concepts for decision-making in agribusiness, finance and real estate industries; emphasis is on practical applications in management that include performance measures, economic analysis for profit maximization, personal and investment decision-making and overall business management. For AGEC majors, this class will provide a foundation for advanced AGEC courses, while non-AGEC majors will acquire a broad foundational understanding of agribusiness management skills to complement their technical major. Prerequisites: Grade of C or better in AGEC 105 ; junior or senior classification; knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
