Analysis of stress and strain in two and three dimensions, equilibrium and compatibility equations, strain energy methods; torsion of noncircular sections; flexure; axially symmetric problems. Prerequisite: Mechanics of Materials, Advanced Calc Different Equations. Cross Listing: MEEN 603 and MEMA 601 .
