Credits 3. 3 Lecture Hours. Theoretical and approximate solutions for steady and unsteady incompressible flows and steady transonic flows; applications to airfoil, wing and whole-vehicle aerodynamics; approximate methods for boundary layers; introduction to aerodynamic design concepts; design of swept wings and delta wings and control surfaces. Prerequisite: Approval of instructor.
