Catalog description

Credits 3. 3 Lecture Hours. Analysis of robotic and human space mission design processes, including Low-Earth orbiting missions, planetary orbital missions and robotic and human planetary landing missions; review of spacecraft subsystems, orbital mechanics, and introduction to concept- and detail-level space mission design tools and techniques. Prerequisites: Grade of C or better in AERO 351 ; grade C or better in AERO 423 or concurrent enrollment.
