This course provides students with theoretical and practical tools for understanding the causes and consequences of global inequality. It covers various theoretical perspectives on how and why some countries have achieved high levels of social and economic development while others have not, as well as the role of foreign aid, trade agreements, and non-governmental organizations in these processes.
