The course focuses on the exploration of selected theories and conceptual frameworks, and their relationship to nursing practice and research. Emphasis is on the difference of the advanced practice role from other healthcare professionals, also to develop analytical reasoning skills, and the relationship of theory and research to advance nursing practice.
