Catalog description

This course covers the pathogenesis and the epidemiology of medically important fungi, parasites, and viruses. Principles and practices of mycology, parasitology, and virology will be explored including individual microorganism and their characteristics. Student will learn about host environments, pathogenesis, isolation, cultivation, identification, and treatment of medically important organisms.
