This course in an introduction the theoretical aspects of the immune response and its relationship to clinical immunohematology. Includes theory and practical applications of blood-group systems, antibody screen and identification, compatibility testing, hemolytic disease of the fetus and newborn, autoimmune hemolytic anemia, introduction to donor testing.
