Catalog description
This laboratory courses develops and hones the basic skills and techniques necessary for the isolation, cultivation, identification, and antimicrobial susceptibility testing of medically important bacteria. Clinical examples will be used to illustrate concepts presented in class, allowing for correlation of pathogens and human disease.
