Catalog description

This laboratory course is designed to connect theory and skills for understanding and performing laboratory techniques in the blood bank, including testing methodologies. Laboratory procedures for screening and identification of blood group antigens and antibodies, compatibility testing, processing and selecting blood products, and quality assurance as it relates to clinical immunohematology will be explored.
