Clinical Chemistry II Lab

Catalog description

In this course, learners will connect biochemical principles learned in the accompanying lecture to diagnostic testing and patient care in clinical laboratory settings. This course addresses laboratory applications in chemical analysis of blood and body fluids with emphasis on spectrophotometric, electrophoresis, and immunoassay methods. Students will perform quality control testing, sample measurements, troubleshooting, maintenance, and correlation of data with possible disease states or analytical issues.
