Catalog description
This course incorporates lectures, readings, discussions, and videos to give students an in-depth view of U.S. history from 1945 to the present. This course combines the study of politics, ideology, economics, society, and culture to encourage students to think critically and write analytically. We will also consider some historiographical and methodological challenges in researching and writing about recent history.
