Catalog description
A study of Roman history from the Republican period to the fall of Rome (5th century BCE - 4th century CE). Emphasis will be placed on the development and evolution of social and political institutions during the Republic and Empire, the transition from Republic to Empire, the division of the Empire, relations between Rome and its provinces, and the technological, economic, intellectual, and social advancements of the period more broadly.
